It’s a perverse life to have so much available to you and scrutinized every step of the way. The kid’s nuts! And he can do this because I think he enjoys trolling the world because what rich teenager wouldn’t!? He wields trolling of monumental proportions, front page on magazines and chuckle-head marzipan morning shows globally, Twitter probably pays him to tweet, can criss cross the world and enter a town to Rock the world for thousands of fans! No one tells him no, so who fucking cares!
He’s also clearly good at it. The Anne Franke house idea is so ludicrous and relentlessly douchey he probably had to think about it, restlessly scribbling into a spiral notebook the precise wording days in advance. The crazy ass pants plain as anyone can see look as if you need your diaper changed but he’s got people buying it, the Today show no doubt analyzed for discerning moms that no, these pants are cool, don’t worry about buying a dozen. He’s said he’s never heard of Germany!
He doesn’t write his songs or compose his arrangements, he doesn’t have to think up dance moves, he doesn’t have to plan or choreograph the stage, he doesn’t have to do any back-end work. All he has to do is show up. So what’s the rest of his time spent on? Thinking of some amazing trolling options, gathering ideas and wondering where next to strike. He could get a tattoo of his own face on his neck or heckle Louie CK at a show, the sky’s the limit here.
